It’s been three days since I began my sourdough starter. This is attempt #2. The first attempt failed to produce any noticeable dough-like qualities after many days. This one however, is growing aggressively. I’m pretty proud of it. I come home and talk to it. Like a parent, I check that it’s growing, and that its living arrangements are helping it to grow appropriately.
I’ve been following the recipe from a blog and it can be found HERE. I substituted bread flour for the all purpose flour that the recipe calls for and so far, so good. I hope I haven’t jinxed its development, but I’ll keep you posted. If this continues, I’ll have a post on baking sourdough bread in the next few days.
